The Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run is now in its 24th year. Since the start of this charity road race, over $500 million has been donated to numerous beneficiaries with a focus on health, child-related and educational initiatives.
The beneficiary of the 2022 event is the Kingston Public Hospital with a fund-raising goal of $50 million.
This year, due to the unprecedented global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the run will be primarily virtual, with special in-person events in New Kingston with a limited number of participants.

ELIGIBILITY Virtual Run: March 1 – April 12 - Anyone, Anywhere in the world Invitational Run: March 20 - Open invitation to past Sigma Run participants who completed event under 45 minutes; first-come, first-served basis; maximum 1,000 people to participate.
The Sagicor Sigma Virtual Run allows participants to complete the race distance of 5.5K (3.4 miles) at their convenience - on the day, time, and location of their choice between March 1 and April 12.
Within 24 hours after your registration, you will receive an email with your personalized virtual bib along with your unique results submission link to submit your time.
Print your personalized virtual race bib.
Run your race and submit your race time before the deadline of April 12.
Download your Virtual Run finisher’s certificate. No proof is required and there will be no race awards.
Sigma Virtual Run medals will be available for distribution within 4 - 6 weeks of the April 12 results submission deadline.
The Virtual Run is being conducted on an honor system. We ask all participants to uphold the spirit of honest racing by running the full distance of their race and reporting their accurate time.

To participate in this event, you MUST be fully vaccinated.
Upload your digital vaccination card at verify.sagicorsigmarun.com. Individuals must use '1111' in the Team Number field.
Your registration is NOT complete unless the Sigma Secretariat has received and validated your digital vaccination card.
An individual is defined as fully vaccinated only if they have received the full series of a vaccine or a combination of vaccines approved by the Ministry of Health & Wellness, and they received their last dose at least 14 calendar days before completing this vaccination status declaration upon registration.
Persons who do not have their digital vaccination card may visit vaxcert.moh.gov.jm to obtain theirs. If there is an error on your digital card, follow the procedure outlined on the website to have it corrected.
Fully vaccinated children 12 - 17 years old may participate if a parent or guardian accepts the electronic waiver.
In addition to mandatory vaccination, temperature checks, wearing of masks, social distancing of 6 feet at all times, and sanitization at all sections of the event including prior to the race start and post-race will be required.
The event is subject to final approval from the Ministry of Health & Wellness. Aspects of the event are subject to change depending on the COVID-19 case burden closer to the time of the event.
