ICWI Pink Run

October is celebrated worldwide as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this year our annual ICWI Pink Run will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Emancipation Park, New Kingston starting at 6:30am.

This event continues to be the major fundraiser for Jamaica Reach 2 Recovery (JR2R) which is the breast cancer support arm of the Jamaica Cancer Society.

JR2R has been functional for 40 years and is made up of volunteers, all of whom are breast cancer survivors who through our fundraising efforts provide emotional, psychological and financial support for other breast cancer survivors, and by extension their family and friends. JR2R is entirely funded by donations and fund-raising efforts.










DONATION

  • Individuals - $1,500 per person
  • Teams (49 persons or less) - $1,500 per person
  • Teams (50 persons or more) - $1,200 per person
  • Teams (100 persons or more) - $1,200 per person with a complimentary 10x10 team tent on race day

 


REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

Registration is open to all individuals and teams (corporate, clubs, church groups). The deadline is Friday, October 18, 2019 or upon achieving the event limit, whichever comes first. THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

Entries are neither refundable nor transferable, and name changes are not allowed.

Manual Registration

Download and complete the Entry Form, and submit with cash or cheque donation to the ICWI Pink Run Secretariat on/after Monday, September 30 at Toyota Jamaica, 93 Old Hope Road, Kingston 6. Cheques are to be payable to 'Jamaica Reach To Recovery'.

Entry fees can also be paid at ANY branch or office of the Insurance Company of the West Indies.

To register your company team, complete the Corporate Team Registration Form and submit along with your team entry forms to the ICWI Pink Run Secretariat on/after Monday, September 30 at Toyota Jamaica, 93 Old Hope Road, Kingston 6.

See below for Packet Pick-up Information:

  • Race packets must be collected before race day from Toyota Jamaica, 93 Old Hope Road, Kingston 6 on Thursday, October 24 - Friday, October 25 between 11:00am to 5:00pm, or on Saturday, October 26 from 11:00am - 2:00pm. THERE IS NO NUMBER PICK-UP ON RACE DAY.

  • Each entrant will receive a bib with an embedded timing chip that will provide your personal time from start to finish. You must cross the timing mats at the start and finish lines in order to get a race time. Bibs are to be pinned to the front of your shirt. Your bib is labeled with your name and marked for the event you entered. You must wear the bib encoded with your information. DO NOT SWITCH OR GIVE YOUR BIB TO ANYONE.

  • Each participant is responsible for knowing and complying with all the official Chip Timing Rules & Guidelines. Failure to comply with the rules of the event will subject you to disqualification.
