The CB Group UWI 5K & Smart Eggs Kids K returns on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the UWI Mona Campus starting at 6:30am.
The event raises funds for The University of the West Indies Scholarship Fund, which provides the opportunity of a lifetime to outstanding academic students in dire financial need. Through the CB Group UWI 5K Scholarship Fund, over 100 students have benefited and proudly graduated, some with first-class honours..
The Smart Eggs Kids K is a huge hit with the under 11 crowd as they get the opportunity to get in on the race day fun.
Follow the steps below to register for the CB Group UWI 5K & Smart Eggs Kids K.
Registration is open to all individuals and teams (corporate, clubs, church groups, and family teams).
Registration closes Friday, November 18 at 12 noon. THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
Contribution
The contribution is $1,500 per person. For teams with 25 or more persons, the donation is $1,200 per person.
For students with ID and the Smart Eggs Kids K, the contribution is $700 per person. Note, a valid student ID is required to collect the race package.
Entries are neither refundable nor transferable, and name changes are not allowed.

Manual Registration
Manual registration with cash or cheque payment will only be facilitated at the Institutional Advancement Division, The University of the West Indies, Regional Headquarters (opposite main UWI Mona entrance), Mona, Kingston 7. Tel.: (876) 977-0052/54.

. The team captain will receive a spreadsheet to enter the team's registration information and will be invoiced.
Packet Pick-Up
Race packages must be collected before race day from The University of the West Indies, Regional Headquarters (opposite main UWI Mona entrance) between Thursday, November 17 - Friday, November 18 from 11:00am to 4:00pm each day or on Saturday, November 19 at from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. THERE IS NO BIB PICK-UP ON RACE DAY.
Each entrant will receive a bib with an embedded timing chip that will provide your personal time from start to finish. You must cross the timing mats at the start and finish lines in order to get a race time. Your bib number will be labeled with your name and marked for the event you entered, and must be pinned to the front of your shirt. You must wear the bib encoded with your information. DO NOT SWITCH OR GIVE YOUR BIB TO ANYONE. Switching of race events is NOT allowed once race registration is closed.
Each participant is responsible for knowing and complying with all the official rules and regulations. Failure to comply with the rules of the event will subject you to disqualification.
The CB Group 5K will start on Queensway near the Assembly Hall, then left onto Mona Road, continue onto Hermitage Road, then left onto Port of Spain Way to re‐enter UWI Mona Campus, then left, up the bend then right onto Gibraltar Hall Road, left onto Gibraltar Camp Road, right onto Sherlock Drive, right onto Ring Road, then left onto Queensway to the finish line outside the Assembly Hall.
