GRACEKENNEDY EDUCATION RUN

Sunday, July 6, 2014  •  Port Royal Street, Downtown Kingston  •  Race Start 6:30 a.m.

GraceKennedy Education RunOn Sunday July 6, 2014, GraceKennedy Limited will stage its sixth GraceKennedy Education Run in downtown Kingston. The objective of the event is to raise funds to support educational programmes in downtown inner city communities. The Run is an initiative of the Grace and Staff Community Development Foundation, which is supported largely through the donations and voluntary efforts of our staff. Since its inception over 30 years ago, the Foundation has initiated and supported inner-city community development programmes designed to meet the many challenges faced by residents. We are very proud of the fact that, through our educational interventions, we have been able to assist hundreds of young persons to widen their outlook and become productive members of their community and the wider society.

Over the years, more students in our homework programmes are qualifying to enter tertiary institutions, a positive development which has, however, challenged the resources of the Foundation. We invite your support of this effort to encourage the ambitions of these capable young people.
