Civil Service Week 5K

Saturday, November 17, 2018Emancipation Park, New KingstonRace Start - 7:00am

The inaugural Civil Service Week 5K seeks to raise the awareness of Jamaicans, not only on who public servants are and what they do, but also the support given by them to the various charities they undertake annually. The focus on this year’s charities, Sophie's Place of Safety and the St. Anthony’s Children’s Home, is not just on children in need, but wards of the state who are ailing, in addition to those with disabilities. Also, the Civil Service Week 5K collaborates with the Ministry of Health’s 'Jamaica Moves' initiative to promote a healthier Public Service, and by extension, the wider society.

Featuring MYLAPS BibTag timing, participants will be treated to premium runner care and special post-race activities.
